09/13 Han Solo Up date and opinions

I'm again posting on behalf of Han Solo and Fernanda.

This is the last combo

He seems to have stopped diving and bouncingwhich I think is very good but his numbers are still high, he will have a week with the 1.75 on friday and the idea of course is to raise his dose to 2 u then, but still I will like if some of you could take a look at his numbers and see if we are not making something wrong or have any suggestions

It does look like he needs more insulin. It's best to just keep increasing per SLGS. It will just take time to get to a good dose and bring the numbers down.

I agree he needs to go up but you might want to talk to her about doing TR instead of SLGS

With him staying in those high numbers as much as he is, she could do more frequent dose changes on TR instead of letting him stay in those 300's any longer than necessary and risking glucose toxicity setting in (where the body gets used to being that high even with insulin and it can take an even higher dose to "break through")

It looks like she tests enough to do TR since it only requires the Pre-shots, one mid-cycle on the AM cycle and a "before bed" test on the PM cycle

Thanks yes I will tell her about changing to TR now that it appears she is finally being able to test more regularly
