Good morning :)

Even though it's pretty gray and cloudy outside the sun is shining in our house with Fistuk's yellow :woot:

Looks like he's beginning to clear bounces more quickly?

Yesterday evening he was asking for a lot of cuddles and spent a lot of time on our bed which are good signs of less retreating into himself.

We slept through the night. At around 5am he woke up (or I woke up in panic as I do these days) and he ate quite a lot and all by himself. It meant that he had less for breakfast so I'll feed him again at +1.5

:bighug:

Yay!!!! :):woot: Both for the yellow and him feeling better and eating well on his own.

As he gets closer to a good dose, you will see him spending more time in lower numbers and clearing bounces faster. Paws crossed for some blues today!

Are we expecting a flat? or could it still drop?

Fistuk is more alert and awkae. He ate 90% by himself. It's just if I need him to eat more to catch up with calories that I use a syringe but now he's again enthusiastic about it, looking expectantly at me filling it.

I sprinkled bit of boiled egg on his food and he seemed happy about it. perhaps it makes the food tastier.

Seems pretty flat. Think you can get a test between +7 and +9?

That's great! Maybe it's just a matter of feeling better in yellows rather than pinks?

Glad Fistuk is feeling better and has an appetite! Paws crossed for continued progress :bighug:

I've noticed that Fistuk has a lot of twitching while he's asleep. I wonder if and what it might mean. He also lets out little sighs that sound like a little cry. They're quite touching and heart-cracking. It's as if he lets out the difficulty of his state in his sighs.
Anyone has experienced that or know if it's something to look out for?

How do I know when it's time to stop the Ondanestron?

Today he's been eating more and more alone. He wakes up every couple of hours and eats some

It's good he's eating on on his own. If he continues like this for a few days, you can start to taper the Ondansteron to twice a day and then stop if it looks like he is eating even without it. Don't rush. There is no harm in giving Ondansetron if he needs it to keep eating. It is important that he eats and it's a big stress off your shoulders if he does.

:( He will get there. We are seeing more yellows and less red.

Ok. Just before time to give Ondaatje I noticed signs of nausea so perhaps it’s best to continue. And it is indeed a huge burden off

No reds is a huge relief as well

Even though high BG he's less flat and retreating into himself. IT looks on him that numbers are high but he's not struggling as much as he used to, def not like in reds. He pees mostly in the box. and he eats and eats and eats. What a delight. I think that the higher fat, the egg and the Onda are doing him good. And he keeps on asking for cuddles and being spoiled which is more of the old Fistuk :bighug:
