Booger has started her new dose of 2.0 Units. She has also started her NDW pattern. Hopefully we'll see a decrease in numbers soon. I keep my fingers crossed. One more long work day and then I can be home for a few too. The husband has been keeping a close eye out for her and checking her while I'm at work.

Hi! I don't think I've commented on Booger's condo before, but just wanted to commiserate a little on the NDW. Maddening, isn't it? - Not to be able to see RIGHT NOW what a new dose will do? Hard to wait for the NDW to settle down for us impatient folk. ;-) Hopefully she starts coming down just a bit with the new 2.0u. I know when you're dealing with this disease on a day to day basis, sometimes it's hard to see "progress" in the numbers, but scrolling out and looking at her spreadsheet from start to now, there's a major improvement from mostly pinks to yellows with quite a bit of blue. If you assume renal threshold is somewhere around 250, a lot of those yellows are also below renal threshold. For whatever reason, it sometimes seems like many kitties see a lot of flat numbers until you hit the "right" dose, and then whamo - lots of blue and green. You'll get there. :-D

She seems to be feeling pretty good. Hopefully she'll take your advice!

Hi Jen,
Yes! It is maddening.. I get worried not knowing how she's going to react. Thanks for looking over her ss and your thoughts on it. I have seen an improvement in her clinical signs. She was originally drinking tons and tons of water and eating like it was going out of style. We've made progress in leaps and bounds there. I'm anticipating an active cycle tonight so hopefully we'll get some healing numbers! Paws crossed!
