Ah...travel day....well I hope everything goes smoothly for you today Dyana. What time will you be home?
I think there is a party brewing for the New Moon today....Raja is enlisting Ginger for some help with the party prep knowing full well that she is just sitting and staring at the clock this morning.. She can't wait to see you and J.D. but it will so many hours from now that Raja wants her to get her mind off the darn time!!! "A watched pat never boils" says she...and Ginger listens to her and knows she is right. Raja is always right! :roll: Ginger should be here any moment now and they will be occupied with all the things one must do for an impromptu last minute party. They will all wear black tonight since there will be no light from their moon....they are trying to blend into the dark night. It should be interesting anyway.... :lol: Shadow is excited cause his fur is black so he is all ready!
Hope you have an uneventful trip...it's sad to be leaving I bet...but home is calling you kiddo....vacation time is over...we look forward to you being home so J.D. won't have to spend his time under a bed....home sweet home! Hugs to you both! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

J.D. is feeling clingy and wants to follow me everywhere, and even picked up his toy, which means he wants to be with me.
...whenever I'm outside with Ginger and J.D. is inside, I find him next to the door with his toy in his mouth...
I guess it's time to get the carrier ready. Then J.D. will know...what's going on.

I'm liking that PM +11, Dyana! Looks good! I hope that JD can maintain some good numbers between now and his arrival back home. I'm sure that he will be a bit stressed out by the plane ride, but will be oh so happy to be home once again. Have a safe and uneventful trip back home, Dyana. Ginger will be so happy to see you, although she may be a bit worn out from all that partying while you were gone! Oh, and JD.....make sure you leave some nice prezzies in the LB BEFORE you head off the to airport ;-)

Have a safe trip home! Travel safe there J.D.! Soon back to home. All the kitties have enjoyed hanging out with Ginger. Mannie says he will make sure that Ginger is home in time for your arrival. She has missed everyone!

The flipping flight is delayed, but they still wants us there on time as if it wasn't. We're going to be at the airport for over 3 1/2 hours :shock: before the flight even takes off.
Please come down just a little J.D. We'll be home soon..
I may end up giving him some R when we get home at around 2:00am, now :roll: depending on his numbers. I guess that is okay. His regular shot of Levemir will be 4 hours or so after the R, and he won't get onset of the Levemir until like +3.75.
I'm sure he'll feel just fine and get right back to "normal" for him, once we're home.

I "couldn't handle it" anymore..the rising BG. I gave him 1/2 unit at +17.
I'll keep both baggies of treats with me on the flight, but I can't test him during the flight,, unless, I can put him in his carrier on the empty seat next to me ;-) . I hope I can, that would be cool! There are lots of empty seats on this flight.
I don't think I can post much more, I have to go be with my parents for the next 45 minutes, and then were off to the airport.

J.D. is constipated. He didn't poo at all yesterday, and he didn't pee in his carrier on the car rides or on the plane.
He did real good on the flight, with the delays and all. Now, that we're home, he keeps going down to the basement, where the litter boxes are, hoping to poo, I think. I'll give him some Miralax, when he gets his breakfast.
He keeps drinking water since we've been home (he refused water on the plane). I finally just tested him at +15.75 (I think :roll: from the 1/2 unit I gave him before we left my dad's house) and he was 464, so I gave him 0.10 R. He'll get his Levemir shot in about an hour, and hopefully that will set the BGs in the right place for the Levemir to work at onset of +3.75 to +4. I know, we have a drained shed. Hopefully, it will fill up quickly.
