He was on the 2nd floor, sleeping in the sunlight when I went to test him. He's an absolute love and only squirmy a bit for testing since it took several tries (note to self - bring clip on magnifiers!). After testing, he came downstairs to be sociable and be petted and fussed over. I got a lick of the forehead to let me know I was 'his' and a bit of lap cuddling before I headed out. I'll stop back in 2 weeks to continue follow up on the diarrhea and spot check the glucose.
It is day 15 with no insulin and he tested at a whopping 67 mg/dL about 4 hours after official breakfast, though he always has some dry food down (Evo Cat & Kitten now - Jo said he wouldn't eat the Wellness dry original.) It wasn't by the protocol and certainly didn't have much of the testing we all usually do ... but I think he is off the juice!
