Some of the left out food was eaten when I returned home from work at PMPS.

I did pick up some Denamarin from my vet after work, but will wait until Saturday when I'm home all day, to give him his first dose.

He ate pretty good last night, and I went to bed early, and left some food out, and all the bowls were clean this morning, so one of the cats ate overnight.

We just got back from a short walk around he courtyard, in which J.D. (and Ginger, too) got several treats.

1st Breffis has been eaten.
I accidently sprinkled a whole capsule of Methylcobalamine into J.D.'s bowl and he ate most of it before Ginger greedily got some (Ginger loves that stuff).

All is well. Kitties are settled down, and I am off to start to get ready for work. bbl.

Hi guys .. oh I'm happy to see J.D. came down from that +11.5! And hopefully it was J.D. who had a good feeding last night .. it's always a worry when a kitty isn't interested in fuds ... hope you guys have a great day!
 
I got home from work, and not one speck of the left out food was eaten. By either of the cats.
J.D. was sitting on the couch, and Ginger was laying on the bed. Why won't they (especially J.D.) eat during the day? Do they sleep all day? The litter box was untouched. I remember, I used to wonder this, long ago, when I would come home from work, and not one cat toy was out of place, like as if they only move about when I am present.
Anyway, now that I need J.D. to eat during the day, I could use some hints or suggestions to encourage him.

Off to take the kitties outside for some exercise..
 
Hi Dyana:)

Ella never eats during the day unless I come home and feed her. Is JD particular in how he likes his food served? Maybe he just misses your encouraging voice throughout the day. Thanks so much for all of your visits and healing vines for Ella. We appreciate it!

Wish I had an answer about how to make J.D. eat during the day. Sometimes neither of mine will eat unless I carry them to their bowl and stay with them while they eat. Silly boys! Doug says they'll eat if/when they get hungry, but I keep reading about what can happen if they don't eat and get worried about worst case scenario.

It could be that they miss you, your voice, just your presence. Maybe they'll load up at breakfast and it'll carry them until you get home. I hope you find the answer soon. My problem is that usually when I find the answer, the kitties change the question! :roll:
