+6.5=158 (dangit)

Just got back from Petco picking up some cat food - they will now be carrying Tiki!! He didn't have it on the shelves yet but he thinks that all Petco's will be carrying it going forward!

Which Tikis does Gizmo like?
Don't know yet. I was going to grab a couple try but they didn't have it on the shelf yet. I am so excited to have it as an option to be able to grab a couple of cans vs buying a case ($$). The only place I could find it was at a small pet store that is about 45 min away.

Is this an error?
I don't think so. Wish the Carnivore and After Dark were listed. Not sure about those.

Oh, I forgot to post. I sent Dr. Lisa a note through her contact info on her website re: the I and Love and You Wholly Cow. The only contact I could find was through the request for consultation. I linked back to the two threads here (@MJW) and gave my email address. I am not sure if I will get a response or if she will post an update.

I am still preoccupied with recovering from Harvey. I didn't flood but I lost my car and I tore my place apart carrying everything upstairs and then looking for my car title. It was interesting filling Yum's 6 AM syringe by flashlight in the 5 days of no power. Sorry for slow responses. I did contact Dr. Pierson through the consultation page. Someone on her staff emailed me. I gave her the information and the contact information for Wholly Cow. The data IandLoveandYou supplied me (which I posted here) was incorrect in several ways and different from what they gave Dr. Pierson. When I talked to their quality manager on the phone, he basically told me all their foods are high phosphorus because they are high protein and thus unhealthy for CKD. They weren't interested in continuing the conversation to explain their carbohydrate numbers, which also look wrong to me. I don't think they know the nutritional analysis of their food. I tried Tiki cat a long time ago. My cats would just lick off the juice. They will eat the soulistic chicken "pate" when starving, which is shredded chicken in some gelatinous gunk. Both Soulistic and Tiki are made in Thailand. Right now I am feeding Yum RadCat lamb or beef raw, which are low to 0 carb and low in phosphorus. I give her Soulistic chicken "pate" to tide her over between meals. Soulistic has excellent nutritional information on their website.
