I guess I did a stupid thing last night. I weighed J.D. and he was 11lbs 12.5oz, and his last weight which for some reason I don't have recorded on my spreadsheet was 11lbs 15oz about a week ago. I have this case of Iams Max Cal and it just sits here, and so I thought I would see if J.D. would eat it. He did. He seemed to like it and washed and washed and washed his face afterwards which is what he tends to do when he really appreciates his food. But, he was sitting on the top stairs of the basement while he was doing this and after a bit I heard something (not good) and he had fallen I guess down to the third step and caught himself. He was frozen there, and eventually I got him to climb back up to the main floor. Then he would not eat a thing. Not even Temptations. I don't know if the Iams Max Cal is not good for pancreatitis or he was just still shook up from his almost fall down the stairs.
I'm going to try to find a baby gate.
I gave J.D. some cypro last night and he ate fine eventually.
This morning he acted fine and ate most of his 1st Breffis and then threw it all up on the deck. We went for a walk and he kind of went to knibble the grass but didn't really eat any. Then he went poo (formed, but probably soft and stinky) on the grass. He also pooed last night. Once we got home I gave him some Ondansetron and Pepcid.
I wish to get his numbers more even. I wish for more days like last Sunday, where he was fairly flat and didn't dive and bounce. I wish his bounces were shorter, and less high.
I hope his tummy feels better and he eats well today, and I come home to a nice blue number.
On Saturday morning, he has to fast from midnight until his Cobalamin test at 7:40am. I will bring some food for him to eat on the drive home.
Sending comfort and hugs to Barb, and healing vines to all who need them.
