He’s not losing ground. He’s an enigma. He stays pretty much the same whether you increase or decrease. His amps is higher. Let’s give it another day.

I agree. Stay the course. His AMPS went up when you increased to 1.5U as well.

@tiffmaxee will a snack at +9 bring the PS down or is that only for cats at tiny doses?

My opinion on the AMPS 143 (09/01/2021) with 1.500 units (12 hours earlier) was the liver reacting to change (increase) and it introduce sugar in the blood stream for protection.

My opinion with the AMPS increase of late with 1.250 units possibly lacks staying power for 12 hour duration. I think the reason for AMPS being higher than evening is because during the day Henry is more active which in it self burns sugar while at night Henry is less active due to sleeping more.


My brother-in-law has TYPE 1 since 1975 and his morning dose is different from his evening dose (levemir insulin)

The +9 snack is usually for tiny doses. .25 or even less.
