Good morning!
AMPS 250 shooting .75u

Boomer ate all of his overnight fuds except for his +6.

Allen ate very well last night and left us a present in his lb.

Today on the agenda: some cleaning/sewing that I had planned for 2 days ago and then again yesterday

On Saturday I did my usual trip to Saunders Pond first thing in the morning. There have been Green Herons hanging out there this summer; two adults and three juveniles. They hang out in this one specific area usually and there are lots of trees/limbs coming out of the marshy area and the birds stay back from the path, making it difficult to get a good shot of any of them. But on Saturday the juveniles were more active; flying around and changing locations frequently, and I was able to get some decent shots. Attached is just one of the images I got!

Lookin' good here.
I've never seen a Green Heron. Beautiful bird.
Our hummingbirds have taken off, I think, but there will be migrants passing through, so I keep the feeders full.
We have Juncos all year.

Hope you had a good day cleaning (!) and sewing.

Well some cleaning got done  More sewing got done though!
I had never seen Green Herons until last year. We also get Night Herons. I've never seen adult ones but last year there were two juveniles sitting on a log in one of our ponds. I photographed them not knowing what I was photographing!
