All of a sudden I am getting lovely blues! Thank goodness!
I guess she got scared with the new vet and is reacting this way ;) Don't really understand what happened all of a sudden except that maybe a F1.00 is a good dose this time?
Any advice on future dosing (unless the #'s are really low of course) would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance, care to all.

Did you decrease to .75 or was that done for some other reason? Max responded to tiny increases and decreases so fattening or giving a skinny dose was how he was managed. That's why I used digital calipers. Enjoy the pretty blues and the rest of your weekend.

I decreased this AM shot only due to the 6.9 (124) low reading I got this morning preshot.
Calipers would be more useful to me if the BD syringes had consistent markings and 'beginning' syringe pullups (hard to explain) but I do use them.
Thanks! :)

Nice to finally see blues. I would have stayed with the 1 unit as the 124 was a "shootable" number with SLGS. Back on 7/26 you shot a 119 with 1.25 unit. JMHO.

As far as the calipers go, you need to find a syringe that is marked accurately to use as for your calculation. Do that by pressing up the plunger and the zero line should be right at the top of the plunger. Then after you get the calculations, ignore the lines and just use the calipers. I have a cheat sheet with all the measurements and their corresponding caliper measurement all the way down to .25 unit.

Thanks Bobbie! At 4am I wasn't looking at what I previously shot on the computer! hehehe! Reminder to self.. print out a copy! With all these lower #'s too I'm/we are not used to below the usual value I thought the decrease was in order. I can always go back up starts getting worse again.
Yes, the zero line 'should' be I agree, but these %#%*%# BD syringes are not like that - all a bit different. GRR! Good idea on the cheat sheet!

All of the syringes have some with crazy markings. So I measured from the place on the syringe . It's hard to explain where that was. I also was bad at getting rid of bubbles so I had to take the size of the bubble into account, lol.
