Furball was happy & purry this morning. I hope she comes down today. Does anyone know if I can give the Revolution sooner than one month after the Frontline Plus? I only waited 3 weeks between the Advantage II and Frontline Plus and didn't have a problem, but I don't want to hurt the cats.

I would wait the full month Carla, just in case of toxicity. I just read that it can take 8 months to get rid of them all and you have to treat the cats the whole time. What a nightmare for you and the kitties.

Carla, have you checked with your vet and HV as to safety of retreating ? As you said , you don’t want to overtreat. I know you know my story of how I went thru this too and all I did to Kitties was flea comb , bathe and used an herbal flea collar . Most of my time was spent vaccuming, sweeping , washing beds and sheets I used to cover furniture. It was a slog but it finally did come to an end .Took months . Prayers for you to not get discouraged by it and for all stages of fleas to be dead ASAP

You could call the customer service number on the box of Revolution and they could guide you about how safe it would be to dose prematurely.

We vacuumed every day for 6 months when Alice had fleas (and there were hundreds of flea eggs in our bed!). This was in the days when all that was available were flea collars. We finally resorted to having her "dipped". Sorry the Frontline Plus didn't work for you. I don't know if there are conflicts between and among the various treatments, but perhaps the holistic vet will know.
