Furball was happy & purry this morning. Big bounce after yesterday's green.

I hate to even say this , but you might have to take you and the Kitties out of house for a 1/2 day and set off bombs. Once we had them so bad , we had to do that and then that was the end of them. We have had gen since but then revolution would take care of it. The infestation was horrid!
I don't think it would work. Furball needs a bath. I noticed before I went to bed last night that there were flea eggs where she's been sleeping. I cleaned up her spot, but there were more there this morning. If I don't get them off the cats, bombing won't help. Besides having to try and find somewhere to take the cats (it's too hot and humid to sit outside), I have an aquarium to deal with. I don't want to kill my fish. I am planning to try Revolution next. I can't believe the Frontline Plus was less effective than the Advantage II. Thanks for the suggestion. I've also read online about people bombing and it still not getting rid of the fleas.

Sending prayers for Lucy and Squallie (@Squalliesmom).

I had to do both, bomb and continue with the Revolution.

I hope bathing FB and trying the Revolution will do it for you. Eventually, you will break the cycle and get resolution. I had to succumb to the bombing because of my dog Lucy being horribly allergic to flea bites. She would eat her flesh off!

I understand about the fish being an issue. I really did hate bombing , but I had to make it stop quickly for my dog's sake.

Sending " flea be gone vines"! :bighug:

I am repeating myself but I swear by Adams Flea and Tick dip. Both to use on the kityies and to use as a spray for the house.

I would mix up 1 tablespoon of Adams in a gallon of warm water in a bucket then put a pan (I used an old, clean litter box) in the bath tub. Put kitty in pan and use cup to pour dip over cat. When done with one, I poured the dip back in bucket and repeated with the next cat. Then mix up a new batch of dip (1 tablespoon/1 gallon water) in a sprayer and sprayed the entire house. We dipped weekly during the summer (2 dogs/4 cats) for years. All lived to ripe old ages with no adverse side effects. If you don't think you could dip them you could soak a wash cloth dipped in the dip :p and rub it into them really well. Don't forget the ear area. The fleas will run to any untreated area.

An enclosed shower works best as they can't escape but I started Missy, Nikki, Calli and Vincent all when they were young so they didn't really fight me.

I gave Furball a bath with Dawn. I hope I got it all off her. I don't want to make her sick if she washes and ingests any Dawn.

Did you have to wash them afterwards so they wouldn't ingest it?

I hope the dawn worked to get all the nasty fleas off of her and I hope she's still happy and purry after her bath, poor thing. :bighug:

Aquarium isn't a problem with bombing. You unplug everything then throw a plastic shower curtain over it So it covers down all sides. As long as the bomb isn't near it so fog doesn't shoot directly under the plastic it's okay.

Just picked up my foggers for our yearly bomb day in October. We are having a problem with the tiny flying gnats in the house because of all the rain. Then the asian beetle invasion in late September. Only they are becoming resistant to the foggers,
