J.D. is doing well, except for his bouncing. He is so cute with his front paws. I taught him to beg a long time ago by lifting his front paw up (okay, well, I was trying to teach him to shake hands but I guess he's not a dog). I would give him more loving when he lifted his paw and that turned into when I was giving him treats he would lift his paw up for more and I would give him a little more. Lately, when I have been holding his food bowl under his nose for him to eat, he has been pulling it closer to him by wrapping his front legs around it and pulling it towards him. Yesterday, he had a big (doggy) bowl of food and it was about six inches from where he was sitting on the couch, so he pulled it closer to him with his front paw. Such a smart boy.

He is happy, even though he's bouncing. I gave him another drop of R this morning.

He has eaten well this morning, and again woke me up at +11 wailing (I don't know if that's the right word, it sounds like he has a toy in his mouth but he doesn't) at my bedroom door looking at me and stopped as soon as I got up.

After AMPS, I did get some sleeping in done. Yay!

Now to tackle Photobucket to decide on J.D.'s photo for the 2014 FDMB Calendar.

That's so cute with J.D. and his front paws. He is a smart kitty. It sounds like he wanted some attention from you this morning. I hope he keeps sliding down today.

J.D. was back up to 473 at +9.5, so I gave him a bit more R then. I think he's determined to have this bounce :? .
He ate fine this morning and early afternoon. I shot a little early tonight. Hopefully, he'll be done with this bounce soon.

OT: I'm needing some help in making a decision for J.D.'s submission into the 2014 FDMB Calender.
I tooks hundreds of photos over the past month or so, and have narrowed it down to these. I have to give Deanie the original pictures, so I included the original and the cropped version of each 2014 FDMB Calendar Photo Maybes I'd appreciate your thoughts. I've mainly only been able to get photos on Saturdays and took another 40 today and the last two photos are maybes from todays photo shoot. J.D. doesn't like photo shoots.

Love ALL the photos!!!! It's hard to choose, but I put my votes in for #5 and +11.

It is hard to pick just one. I like 18 cropped the best, but agree 5 is really good too.

I loved them all too, but no doubt in my mind, the winner is.............#19 cropped!!! Adorable!!!

Beautiful pictures! I narrowed my faves down the three.

I love the first pic, titled "2014 FDMB Calendar Maybe 1". I'm also a big fan of 1 cropped. But I think my overall winner is #14. I like the extra color from the dandelions complimenting his tux. :-D

I like 19 - what a great look on his face! 19 cropped, too! Now that we all like different ones, what are you going to do???? :lol:

What a handsome boy! My favorites are "Maybe 1" and #11 cropped, very debonair, #14 and #15, sunny and colorful with all the green grass and yellow dandelions, and #26 cropped, nice sharp full-body portrait.

Hey Dyana....just had to chime in here....all of them are wonderful. He is so handsome.

If I had to pick it would be 18....I can see his face as he is coming toward me...there is some action with him walking...it's just so J.D. I just love his face and how he looks so serious. What a furry, fluffy fellow.

Really nice job on these.

I like the ones with some interest in the background, such as 14, 18, and 22. I think they prefer a horizontal or landscape orientation and no holiday photos (red/green bow tie). Some of the cropped ones are more vertical. Hard to decide because there are so many great ones.

I had a lady at PetsMart approach me and ask me how to trim a cat's nails. She was going to buy a $35 contraption, and I took my regular human nail clippers out of my purse and showed her with Ginger how I just clip off the ends of the nails with those.

J.D. is stubornly into his bounce. He just went to bed, and I will soon follow as tomorrow is a work day for both of us.

Thanks so much for helping me with my task by narrowing down my photo selections. I like FDMB Maybe, 18, 19, and 25.

They're all so sweet, though.

Maybe 2015's calendar could be costumed kitties :lol: ... I'd have too many submissions (Ripley loves wearing costumes ~ or at least I like to think she does ;-) :lol: )
