Good morning!
AMPS 92 shooting 3.25u

Well the high carb serving I gave him last night at +3 kept him at good levels but I stayed up with him (well, Boomer and I slept on the couch) until +5.5. I did hear him use the lb around 3:30/4:00 and he meowed once right after that but that was it.

Yesterday I went to a place called The Coves and there were a whole bunch of birds that were migrating through and I counted over 25 species! I went back today and there wasn't much there. The ones that were there were, for the most part, staying high in the trees. Left there and went to Saunders Pond; nothing much going on there either except for trees full of Goldfinches so they must be gathering and getting ready to migrate.

Today's photo is a Lesser Yellowlegs, found at one of our neighbourhood run-off ponds.

Wow! Boomer was on a mission last night and what a nice start this morning too! Glad you had some snugly time on the couch!
Beautiful picture, what a cute birdie!
Have a good weekend Judy! :)

My husband went to costco for diabetic supplies and even though he handed the clerk the package from the syringes, she gave him the wrong one. I think these are ok to use? I believe the only difference is that the new ones hold more insulin. But I wanted to verify here before using them. The purple one is what I've used for the last 5 years, the blue is the new one.

Judy you can use those syringes but you might want to get some of your usual ones and use the blue ones for full unit doses. If memory serves, the markings are such on the 0.5ml syringes that partial unit doses will be much harder to see/finesse.

Ok thanks! Yes I was wondering about the partial doses and whether they would be difficult to judge.
