Good morning!
Ti-Mousse's adventure is over! Like usual in the car not a word, but at my daughter's place he stayed hidden all day under the couch !:( I felt so bad !! We can see how stress is bad: his BG went from 94 to 268 in a few hours!

This morning, he's starting in Yellow going down slowly from that 268 last night! It's gonna be a very quiet day for him! :)

Happy Friday, the weekend is coming! Hope all kitties are doing good !

I guess a restful day for Ti-Mousse is a good thing after his adventure yesterday. Your lucky that he is good in the car. I used to travel back and forth about 4 hours and another cat that has now passed on used to meow for 4 hours each way. We would sing to her, talk to her and she would still meow. I guess she wanted out of her cage but that wasn't happening.
Have a great day and I hope Ti-Mousse is all unstressed and his numbers come down:D:cool::):bighug::cat:

He's a happy kitty today! :)

ah yes, the constant meow -- or yowl in this case -- back in the day I used to take cats to cat shows, most of them were ok with the car but one -- he yowled constantly, all the way from Seattle to Vancouver BC (and back) -- 5 hours each way ... and I had the kids in the car too so couldn't just stuff earplugs in :banghead:

at least Ti had a safe place to hang out, even if he didn't enjoy it all

! We can see how stress is bad:

I agree with that! I feel stress is what causes a lot of problem for us & our animals! That's why I dislike taking my kitties to the vet! They get so stressed out in the car & at the vet.
I'm glad Ti-Mousse is home & feeling safe again!

I had one kitty like that, moewing all the way!!

Ti-Mousse, you just have a relaxing day - maybe a rest on the beach, a visit with other kitties at the Tiki Hut and then a little dip in the lagoon. It's great you went along on the roadtrip yesterday - those grandbaby birthdays are pretty important.
He's all streched out in the sun in front of the patio door, watching all the birds ! Numbers should start coming down!

Ti-Mousse is good in the car, he doesn't mind it! but at my daughter's place, it was SO NOISY and he's used to a quiet place, that was the problem! Today, he's relaxing!:joyful:
My grandson chose his menu "Tofu General Tao", he loves tofu... Vegetarian birthday supper, I thought of you!:)
I really believe that constant stress is a major factor affecting health of all living creatures !

Oh Ti! Sorry you were stressed out yesterday..visiting isn't all that much fun is it little fellow? Glad you're home now and enjoying the sun and the birds...hope those numbers come sliding back down...come play with Luci in the lagoon...she's learning how to surf all over again :)

Have a great evening Layne!

He didn't think it was fun at all... he's starting to come down!:) Just hope all this won't prevent him from getting greens on this new dose..! Thanks Sue!
Any problems with the hurricane for you, as you seem to spend some time in Florida ??

Well, we're not there now, just our condo - and we have a home watch person. And it looks as if it'll just be a rain event for SW Florida - well so far - I'm watching that storm closely though. I remember watching Irma from afar and it hit our area head on - winds at 132 mph - and wouldn't you know our homeowners insurance had the fine print - for the roof damage - they would only cover if the winds were clocked at 134 mph...now how's that for some fine print? And they refused to pay for the water damage to the elevator shafts - since we have flood insurance - the water in the shafts was not from flooding, it was rain water - wind driven rain water in the shafts measuring feet deep - they refused to pay for that too...they have so many exclusions and fine print, it's a wonder they pay for anything at all!

So we stay here in Michigan and watch - nothing we could do if we were sitting there waiting on that end either except join in the chaos...this is better - cooler but better.

What a bunch..... Always there to grab your money, but always good reasons not to honor their contracts... we've all experienced those "fine prints".... Hope this time, you won't have any damage and won't have to deal with insurance....:)
