[Beck and Philly]

Yesterday

A horrible number to start the day, but with a fur shot last night I guess I shouldn't be surprised. He was demanding food by 5:00 this morning and woke me with a sharp bite to my nose! I jerked awake to find him laying inches from my face and a trickle of blood running down my face from the side of my nose. After all that, he didn't really want to eat even with a number in black.

He's coming down now and had a decent appetite for his snack. I had to go to PetSmart anyway so I stocked up on food for him plus some goodies for the rest of the gang. He's not moving far from the stash.

I loved my stove with the sealed burners. Really don't like the glass top but was unable to get the sealed burners. Store claims they aren't made anymore.

These are actually just cheapie burner covers. I'd love to have sealed burners! I used to be better at keeping critters off of my counters and it wasn't an issue, but you see how that goes now.

Not wanting to jinx anything, but this has been one of the calmest cycles I've seen for Grandpa. He started black but went gradually down to blue and gradually back up just in time for his dinner shot. I wonder if the new dose is working for him. Crossing my fingers for him to continue to feel good. He was playful this evening and interested in food without being frantic. What a good boy!
