I don't know if we will be able to get off the juice, but what you have done is the way to do it, right?! Even though our vet didn't tell us about high BGs months earlier, as I'd wished, he did say the most successful remissions are those who go down to tiny doses before trying to come off insulin. He also mentioned, when at that very low dose, to begin giving insulin just once daily, to kick the pancreas into working. I haven't seen that discussed here.
