J.D. seems a little out of it, this morning. We went for a fairly long walk and at first J.D. just wanted to eat grass, and then he threw up. He wasn't that interested in his treats, but ate a couple. At 1st Breffis, he only licked some of his food and then walked away. I delayed his shot, and gave him his Pepcid and Ondansetron, and gave him a different flavor of food with some warm water added. He ate some of that. I then gave him a bit of cypro and mixed some FF Medleys into the food that was left, and he ate some more, but not all.

So, we could use some eating vines and feel better vines in this condo, today.

Well, Dyana. The way I look at their throw up is I'd suspect hairball, esp when they go & munch on grass. I"ll not let them eat right after the throwup to see how they progress. If it's Rosy, I'll let her a smaller portion of fodd an hr later.
But of course this is how I deal with my non diabetic cats. You know your boy better, it's just for your ref.

When we got back from the walk it was shot time (which I delayed 15 minutes to make sure he would eat a little). After that I only an hour or so before I leave for work. J.D. doesn't get hairballs, too much as he doesn't groom that much. He mainly gets acid tummy, so I give him his Pepcid and I think that's what it was this morning. I finally added some EVO dry to his mixture of food :roll: and he ate some more.

I have to start a new pen tonight, as the one I'm using is getting really low, there's a white things that's come loose at the top of it, and there's an air bubble in the pen. I'll try the new pen tonight, and then probably go back up in dose the next day.

Poor JD! Healing vines for his tummy. I hope the Pepcid and Ondansetron help. I'm glad you got him to eat something. Have a great day Dyana!

Hi guys .. of course we'll send good appy thoughts and feel better thoughts J.D.'s way .. poor little guy .. seems to be having a rough time lately! Hang in there, it will get better .. have a great day!
 
J.D. is feeling much better this evening. Thank you. He has eaten well. And we started the new pen tonight.

Glad to see you've perked up a little and hope it continues. New pen should help too :smile:

Sorry it's been such a long time since visiting, you know how life can get in the way. Not helped by not having any interent at home!
I've only just received the message about Arnie :sad:

Alles ok here overall. We haven't gone down the track of anotyher furball but have gained 2 much smaller mammals (guinea pigs!)that desperately needed a home.

I'l try and dib in,(I know I said that last time). but I do think of you guys old and new (and especially our timers :-D )
