Okay. So, dumb question... On a reality scale of 1-10, how sure are we that this is an issue? Pig has been eating this BB dates and lot codes for quiet a while now and I have a freezer full of it... I don't have a lot of other options around here and am not sure I can even find lamb in this area. I can't suddenly change his diet either. IBD. I also do not want to make him sick...

All the containers I have now are aft that BB date but I am sure Bronx had many of the recalled ones. No issues that I noticed besides drinking more than normal last month???

I have not read all the info yet but like with most recalls you should be able to exchange what you have for a different lot. The retailer gets reimbursed by the company for the recalled food. My cats ate at least 2 containers with no issue but Im not taking chances when they have other stressors on their bodies.

I don't think there's an answer to that question. I would think older cats and cats with concurrent health conditions would be more susceptible... just like with humans... but that's strictly an opinion. I also think how much risk one is willing to assume is a personal decision.

I agree... definitely worth looking into.

That's just the thing. I'm not willing to assume any of the risk. :cat:. But, changing his diet suddenly is a risk all it's own and lamb has been the protein to help with his IBD. I can't find it anywhere around here.

I ordered 6 tubs that were cleared from the recall lots and not part of it. As soon as I get those, I can send these back .. *sigh*
