Furball was happy & purry this morning. At least she's not pink today. Hopefully she'll slide down. The lines on this new batch of syringes are off. It looks like I'm giving her less of a dose than I need to be. I had to get my calipers our and double check to make sure the settings had not gotten changed. I wish the syringes were more consistent.

I agree, why can't they make the syringes consistent? I think people would not mind paying more for better quality control. I really had problems the last few weeks that Cleo was on insulin. Very frustrating, and makes for a lot of wasted insulin.

Glad that Furball is feeling so good and hoping she slides safely down for you today!

Enjoy your day, you two.

All I got when I complained to the manufacturer about the syringes was a free box of more mismarked syringes :? , so I had to start using the calipers.

Hi guys .. yay for yellows and not pinks right? You would think with insulin syringes they would definitely be more accurate then what they are .. have a great day guys!

I agree those yellows sure look better than the stinky pinkies she was trying out. Lets hope she settles back into her dose and comes back to the lagoons.

That 66 surprised me, but I went ahead and shot at her normal time. I took the fat off of the dose. After I let her eat I thought maybe I should have stalled, but it was too late. I will keep an eye on her. Hopefully she'll surf safely.

Great shootin' Carla! Paws crossed for a nice surf tonight.

I so agree on the syringes being out. My latest batch are all inconsistent and I do my first draw based on the lines which means more wasted insulin. But maybe I should try Dyana's trick and complain and get a free box of syringes. Doesn't matter when using calipers.

Thanks Liz. I was thinking a +1 and +2 was a good idea. Of course that 89 is food influenced.
