And I'm back!

Boomer ate all his food except for his +6. Lately during his testing he's been, well, testy lol. Cranky. Sometimes I have to call DH so that DH can distract him while I test. This morning I was done testing, was changing the strip in the meter, and the little twerp turned around and bit me on the arm. Actually drew blood. :blackeye:

I was very worried about Allen last night; we finally took his BG again and it read "low". DH suggested I give him some higher carb ff but the last couple of times I've given him ff he has puked afterwards. So I tried one of his kidney foods which he hasn't wanted to eat for a few weeks but he did eat it. I did not take his BG again afterwards but he did seem a bit better; I put him on my lap and he wanted head pats and chin scritches. Then he sat by the back door with Boomer to watch for mousies and Charlie the chipmunk. He ate his normal amount of food last night.

Today's photo is of the sunrise at Saunders Pond from two days ago!

hope you're not anywhere close to the many fires raging in BC!
Not really, but we are in the smoke. The whole province is. I liked your picture - nice not to see an orange sun. :( My niece is working for Fisheries up north, on a river between the Island Lake fire and the Shovel Lake fire. She's been evacuated from where she was staying originally and is now staying at a hotel on evacuation alert.:nailbiting::nailbiting: There was a small fire on the hills near the ferry terminal about 20km away from us last week, but thankfully they got it out quickly.

Boomer - behave! I'm seeing a lot of nothing but blue on this dose, now that the depot is mostly gone. Just sayin'.....

Vines for Allen.:bighug: He's lucky that you can test him and respond when he's low.

Oh wow that is scary. I hope your niece gets to go home soon and continues to be safe.
