WCR: 4 P's. Trying another experiment with her food where I'm slowly reducing her +3 snack a bit and adding what I take from that and placing it at her PS amount for now. Right now, I'm giving her 0.99 oz. (28 grams) instead of 0.95 oz. (27 grams) both PS times, and 0.32 oz. (9 grams) instead of 0.35 oz. (10 grams) from her +3 snacks. I would like to see how she reacts with less of a snack, but more at her meal times. She may do better without that +3 snack, and more food 6x/day instead of 8x/day like she has been getting, I don't know. Maybe the +3 snack is what's keeping her PS #s higher, I don't know. For now, I haven't done any insulin adjustments. She's still at 3.25u BID. Only working with her food, and the current food amount at this time. What made me start thinking about this is I saw that a couple of others on here were feeding their furbabies 6x/day, and thought I'd try that with Blackie and see how she does with it. I know my explanation probably sounds confusing to most. All I'm doing is trying something different. If it doesn't work, then we'll go back to what we were doing before. In the meantime, I'm trying not to freak out about the potentially high #s that I'm surely going to see at PS times. :lol:
