Hi to everyone who follows Panzer posts, we haven't been on for almost a month so I figured I would give everyone an update.
First of all Panzer has not beat Spook up since our previous post. He started to go after him a week ago after I got out of the shower. So I put him in the bathroom with me to punish him Lol. He wanted out so bad he was laying on the floor with his face & paws under the door. It was quite funny
When I got to the part where I put hair spray in my hair & dry it, I shut the room to the cat room & made him wait there. He didn't bother Spook after that & hasn't since.
As for them both being on amoxicillin for UTI/bladder issues, they both finished there meds. I think Spook is in the clear but I think Panzer still has something going on. As you all know my vet that has been giving antibiotic after antibiotic to Panzer for clean catches that I was taking in does not do Cystocentesis. Therefore I started looking for a vet or a clinic that carried the PUREVAX rabies vaccine so I can take him back to the high tech vet that wouldn't see him until he had his rabies vaccine updated. He got his PUREVAX rabies vaccine at approximately +8.25 AMPS today, after standing in line for an hour & a half at our towns Tractor Supply whom has a vaccination clinic every Saturday from 100pm to 230pm. I had made him an appointment on August 1st with a vet IQ clinic about 15 miles from my hometown & they canceled it & told me to reschedule online. When I got online to make another appointment it said temporarily closed, so I searched Google again & found where he went today right in our town so it worked out well.
I will be calling the vet on Monday to get him is ASAP for a urinalysis & a culture so hopefully I can get my baby on the right antibiotic & get rid of this UTI/ infection. I tested him about 45mins after his rabies vaccine & surprisingly he was at 118. Hopefully he not super high at PMPS but we will see.
He was the only cat there for vaccinations, for safety reasons (so as not to escape from the back room) they had to take him to the break room to give him the shot. I was not allowed back there unless the manager oked it. I didn't want to hold up the line & make Panzer stay any longer than needed, I saw the vaccine in there hand before they went back so I was fine with it. Not even 5mins later they returned & said he was not allowed to come back unless he was on something to calm him & the vet agreed to see him
. They couldn't get him out of his carrier so they gave him the shot in the carrier. He's good for a year now, so we will deal with that in a year from now. He's got the name Panzer the terror for a reason Lol he's really just scared. I guess he does have behavioral issues with vets & wanting to beat poor Spook up. I really do think it's because he doesn't feel good & Spook is clingy & pesters him wanting to lay with him & bathing each other. They really do love each other & thankfully he only goes after Spook when I'm here, if he were to go after him while I'm gone I do believe he would probably kill Spook unless Spook could get somewhere that Panzer can't get to him! Hopefully this resolves once he's UTI/ infection free!
His numbers have been pretty good & we have been at the same dose for quite sometime. I think I figured something out with Panzer once his numbers get in the high blues & into the yellows, I threaten him with & increase but I also this last time switched sides that I'm shooting on & I write that & other important things I do or things that happen in bold print in the remarks column of his spreadsheet.
So far he is doing good after his vaccination, I'm keeping an eye on him. He gets his PMPS shot in less than an hour. I hope everyone & there kitty's are doing well, I've been trying to keep up with some kitty's posts but haven't been on here much. I've been keeping his spreadsheet pretty much updated unless it says view only,I then I have to get my tablet out & enter stuff from his notebook that I also keep.
