Yesterday's Condo

Sorry, I still haven't updated my ss yet :oops:

J.D. woke me up at 5:30am this morning and I thought I could stay awake until AMPS time at 6:00am but I fell back to sleep and he got his shot at 6:40am or so this morning. I don't like being this far off schedule (40 minutes) when I have to work tomorrow as I have to leave the house at 7:30.

The cats seem really happy to be home. Ginger is sleeping on the back of a chair and J.D. is in his bed. Even though the sliding glass door is open and it is a nice cool day, the cats right now are happy to be in their favorite places inside the house.

As I was unloading the car last night, Ginger was helping me. It was dark and I had parked my car as close to the courtyard where my condo is as I can, and Ginger followed me out to my car each time to protect me or supervise.

I left a bunch of food out last night before I went to sleep and all of it was eaten when I woke up. I did not wake up at all to test last night, I think I was pretty tired.
We got home to Deb's house on Sunday morning at 3 and talked until 4 and then I got up late at 6:47 to give J.D. his shot. Slept from 7 until 9, and then got ready to come home.
The kitties slept most of the car drive home, like human children.

I wish my kitties traveled so well :roll: Yours are glad to be home and relaxing in their own house:-D
Sorry about the schedule time...I hate that! But at least it's always fixable, just takes a few days :roll:

I love how you guys take your cats to the reunion...I think my herd would totally freak. Lookin' good so far today, J.D. ... surf it!

Okay, the ss is updated as much as I can.

I thought J.D. was on his way up with the 68 and fed him his 4th Breffis, but I guess he's decided to surf for a bit.

You certainly must have needed some extra sleep. It doesn't sound like you got much over the weekend. But what a fun reason to miss out on sleep :-D :-D I'm glad J.D. let you sleep last night. He's sure keeping you busy today with all those beautiful :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: That's cute that Ginger supervised you unloading the car. These kitties! I wonder what she was thinking?

So cute on the unpacking supervision by Ginger. I'm looking forward to pictures.....
 
J.D. ate a lot of food today, so didn't eat that much for 1st Dinner, yet. He did get some lobster for treats.

I'm going to go visit with my elderly neighbor, and then hoping hoping to get to bed early.

The hardest part about The Reunion was the truckers. Most of the turnpike is moutainous (going up and down and curving left and right) and to me it is as scary as a rollercoaster driving along at 75mph and having truckers with as many as 3 trailers nailbite_smile passing you (at 80+mph?) on a curve up in the mountains. At least rollercoasters are only for a minute.

I loved meeting everyone at The Reunion and talking cats and FDMB all day and almost all night. Lots and lots of good food and good friends and people who all care about cats. That's what's best is that we are all alike in that respect.
The weather was perfect, and Deb who lets me and J.D. and Ginger stay at her house is the most generous person. I wish I lived a lot closer, so I could visit more often and talk cats :) and return some of Deb and Dian's generousity. And, Kat invited me to go to her house to visit too, and I would have loved too, but as I just told her in a PM, I only have so much vacation time available. I would love to hang out there for a week.
J.D. was his usual sweet relaxed self and was up and walking around (pacing?) most of the time I was up and that was a lot. I figure when he usually probably sleeps 18 hours a day, he is pretty tuckered out from all that partying. He peed on Dian's carpet a few times. Sorry Dian! Ginger was hissy pissy and hid the first two days. At Deb's house, she stayed under the couch. On Saturday, when I took her to The Reunion, she hid under a bed at Dian's house, for most of the day. In the evening I finally took her out late late at night and she was finally relaxed. On Sunday morning when we got home at 3:00am, she never went under the couch again, and had returned to her loving self.

I'll try to get some pictures together by Saturday, hopefully.

Okay, off to visit neighbor..
 
It sounds like you had a good time at the reunion. That's great your kitties travel so well. I hope you can get some sleep tonight.
 
glad to see that you all made it home in one piece, even tho the truckers were present. That Ginger is so sweet! Sounds like she was so happy to be home and was making sure you were bringing everything into the house and not keeping anything in there for another trip somewhere!
It's always great to see you for the Reunion and I really love having you, JD, and Ginger here. Was nice having Lisa stay here too. The reunions are so fun! I am catching up on my rest today!

JD had a nice run of numbers today......maybe hanging out with Spot and the other kitties was just what he needed!
