Good to see a post from you. :bighug: A little worried about your city. I know someone evacuated in West Kelowna.

I'm hoping this NDW goes away shortly.

It's really bad here. The fire jumped the lake last night and is now making it's way just north of me. The university has now received an evacuation order and it's east of the lake. I've got the cat carriers in place and packed their food and Eddie's medications and I'm hoping we don't have to evacuate here. It's a real threat. Winds very strong and dry lightning forecast for this afternoon.

:bighug::bighug::bighug: Got a plan where to go? I heard from one of the CBC news reporters who has a place just north of the downtown about his plans. Hoping the firefighters get a break.

It's been a very stressful day. I am still outside the evacuation zone. I now have two colleagues from an evacuation zone staying with me and that was part of today's stress, to say nothing of having our ears tuned into social media here as well as the information channel. As of this morning, we really didn't know what was coming. The fire is still raging around and it's gained ground in many areas. We're just hoping that the wind, which has decreased in intensity tonight stays that way.

I'm also stressed for obvious BG reasons. Guess this is still NDW. Couldn't get to testing today but did give him sub-q so that's something.
