So would that be too late for a food bounce?
Yes, a food bump is typically before onset of insulin and 30 mins after food. The food is processed and out of the system in 3 hours.

I've noticed that sometimes his numbers will go up after receiving insulin instead of down. Does anyone know what would cause this?
Makes me wonder if he is dropping lower in the previous cycle (later in the cycle) and its a mini bounce. His numbers are good, so I wouldn't worry about it :-)

101 @ +5 :nailbiting: He was very hungry because he started begging for food 20 minutes before and sometimes that will make his BG spike. He is eating now.
