I still don't think Squallie feels very good. :( He did have a BM this morning; it was small, not overall but each piece was small, and full of "wet", if you know what I mean. I don't know whether he still needs the Miralax or whether it is overkill. He doesn't get it on a regular schedule, anyway, because I have to syringe it and he usually just lets it run out of his mouth. I am afraid to stop it altogether, though, because I'm afraid he will get constipated again.

Thank you all for your kind, well-wishes and helpful advice. Thanks for the CBD oil recommendations, too, I will follow them up later today. This is the only one I have looked at so far, and I really don't know anything about it:

CBD is not the same as hemp seed oil. It is made from different part of the plant. CBD oil can be expensive as it not easy to extract. There is a lot out there and they are not all created equally. I finally decided on the one I bought as it was vetted by the FB group and there were people on the group that were more than willing to answer questions and give anecdotal evidence on the affects of it. It was cold pressed, and the CBD is carried with hemp oil - not coconut oil.

I know absolutely nothing about CBD oil so no help here. I would ask the vet about continuing the miralax, etc. Do you have to take him back to the vet this week? For some reason, I thought you did. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I hope the CBD helps if you use it. I'm tagging @LizzieInTexas as I think she has used it in the past.

As far as the miralax goes, I had to cut Bubba back from 1/4 tsp twice a day to 1/8 tsp twice daily. Can you reduce the amount rather than stop it?
