Mister got an increase this morning. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel a bit discouraging, to see so many days of blue/green and now that same dose kept him mostly in yellow. I try to remind myself there’s many things about this disease that I just simply don’t understand.

But Mister is doing well, I wouldn’t know a difference if it wasn’t for the meter and maybe some bigger clumps in the litter box from time to time.

Calliope (civvie), patiently waiting for me to fill her bowl with her one tablespoon of “crunch-n-munch” (dry food, dr Elsey’s) that she’s now down to per day! It’s basically a treat at this point. I’m thankful every day that she’s my civvie because getting her to eat wet food has been a journey. Mister just loves to eat, period. I’m super proud of her.

Good luck with the increase. I see this happen lot with Karamelle. She will do fine on a dose and then it will just fizzle out for some reason. Then we raise it and she plummets. Hopefully Mister wont do that. Its always such a mystery!

It is! It seems to be doing something, else he’s just breaking his bounce but there’s movement so that’s good. Don’t you wish we could speak to them sometimes?

Anything beyond a couple weeks history on the spreadsheet is ancient history. ECID -every cat is different, and even within that one cat things change over time. The important numbers are the blood sugars, not the dose. Good luck with the new dose, hope it kickstarts something.
