I'm guessing that this higher # is a bounce as she does this every time there's a food and/or insulin adjustment. I'm not concerned. 3 P's in place. Hoping that she loses the 1.5 lbs. with the omition of the 0.10 oz. (total 0.80 oz./snack) of steamed chicken. She needs to lose that weight. Everyone else is at healthy weights, except her, and her son, Jr. Mint. With him, I'm trying to put it on him. He's getting 1.9 oz. of wet food 4x a day.

On another note... We actually broke the triple digit streak yesterday... only to start a new one today. At least we'll be in the lower 100's for the next 3,000 days. :lol: Woke up this morning to 79.7 outside. Wow!!! Break out the parka. It's 7:23 a.m. as I type this, and the outdoor temperature rose to 80.something. That 79.7 was certainly shortlived. Fall will arrive soon enough. Although, you'd think it was here already if you saw the treeline out back.

I was on my way to Galveston last week and I saw all those trees and it looked like fall!! They are dying! It is so sad! :cry: :cry: :cry:

Angela, when you said "triple digets" I thought you were talking about Blackie's AMPS!!! I can't imagine all those days of 100+ degree heat. I hope your weather breaks soon. It must be totally depressing to see the trees sheding leaves so early (but they will probably recover if the drought ends this year; the dropping of leaves is a defense mechanism).

Now, Blackie, time to clear the "bounce"!

It's still a nice AMPS, but I know Blackie is normally lower. I bet he has nice greens today. Oh gosh 80 degrees at 7:23 am! Terrible heat your way; hope everyone has a/c or there are places where they can stay for the day. It's 66 degrees here at 6:14 a.m. and will get up to the 70's. That's cool for us this time of year, but I am loving it. Good luck with Blackie losing weight. It is tough getting a kitty to the correct weight, ask Maggie poo! Have a nice day and hope no triple digits today.

Hi guys .. I hope blackie makes her way down for you today ... and I know you will get that weight off of her .. it will just take time, but it will happen .. I hope you guys are managing to stay cool down there .. I know it's hard, but don't overdue it in this heat ... have a great weekend!

Oh poor Blackie. We're all on a diet. I need to lose 1.5 lbs. too. Actually, 1.5x10! :-)
