Good morning friends.
Do calipers ever drive anyone else crazy? Or more so it’s the syringes that are my problem, varying so much from bag to bag. I try to pick out the ones that look most accurately marked. Still, some mornings I feel confident in the dose I'm giving him, and other mornings like today I stand in my kitchen for an extra 15 minutes staring at the syringe, re-checking the caliper settings, getting frustrated over air bubbles, squirting out entire doses and starting again. I was gifted an LED board recently and while it does make it easier to see, it also makes it easier for me to get caught up on "the perfect dose"
I realized too, he's been getting more than 3.25u when I use the calipers against the LED board, but what can I do? I'm measuring now and will keep recording it as 3.25u, but thats a frustrating thought.
His new food should be delivered today so fingers and paws crossed that he likes it so I can stop mixing things at meal times trying to aim for as close to 10% carbs as possible. Thankfully he loves food, loves to eat. It usually comes as a shock when he doesn't like something.
I think today calls for some meditation in the sunshine. I could sure use the time in nature.
I hope everyone has a good Tuesday, love to you all.
