08/02 bailey uk! am i ok to up his dose?

hes had an eye infection which seems to be on the mend but looking at the last few days...................do you think im ok to go up at pm to 5.5 units?

hes been on 5.25 and has been in the pinks most of the time but I worry a little as Ive been working and a few of the gaps in his spreadsheet where ive been working hes been abit low so don't know whether hes been lower as ive not been able to test so don't know if hes been bouncing.

just want to know if im doing the right thing upping tonight?
 
Hi Anna, sorry to hear about Bailey's eye infection. That might be impacting Bailey's numbers a bit. I think you are OK to up the dose tonight. Just keep an eye on him (which you do well) as the medication may start to help the infection which would bring down the numbers.
 
thanks for that wendy! im off tomorrow so can monitor. I just needed abit of reassurance whether I was doing the right thing.his eye seems to be clearing up even though not right,its not infected now just healing (if that makes sense)
weve also had thunder here tonight and hes been hid under the bed for a while so hes been abit stressed.bless him!
 
it's helpful if you put his numbers in the subject line so we can see what he's doing from the main page.

i hope he's feeling better and eating ok now.
