Ketones AMPS 0.0!!!

After 2 months I can see that she is finally recovering from the aftereffect of DKA & her condition getting back to normal. (her first DKA hospital admission was 05/22)

Usually she’d have thrown ketones at 300+..she’s more energetic, less hiding and sleeping well. I feel like giving consistent dose of insulin advised by FDMB really helped regulating her Bg and ketones, I’m so glad and thankful I found this community.


Update: she vomited hairballs + bile this morning I gave anti nausea meds early and feeding her every hour. Her appetite is okay too

She was hovering over her water fountain close to PMPS I gave SQ fluid 50ml first before giving insulin, should’ve given the shot first ;_; turned out she was doing that bc her bg was really high.. will test again in few hours
 
@+4.6 she threw up food she ate (roo basics) : ( seems fine otherwise but idk why, she was fine yesterday when she ate the same food
 
Her ketones have gone up way too high (0.4 at 6pm to 1.9 at 12am) I’m pretty sure the insulin didn’t go through PMPS, I gave the shot just now. She only threw up like this even on meds when her ketones are high. I’ll monitor her bg and update
