I have abandon the box of cartridges that I got from Marks 02/17. I am using the new pen from neighbor. I will get a new box of pens the first hint of cooler weather we have. I hope that the pen will last that long - if not, I will just purchase locally. I must have confidence in the insulin and I simply do not in the box from Marks.

It is not worth seeing him feel bad.

Thanks! I went to bed at 7:30p last night Between the hours I keep getting up/staying up with Gizmo and the extra workload and stress at work I needed the sleep.

Fall, here in Texas, does not necessarily mean cooler weather - unfortunately.

Neighbor who gave me the pen is going to try and get "samples" from her hubby's doc. If she is able to she is going to give me one or two. That would be nice!

She is wonderful. We are truly blessed with good neighbors whom we have become good friends with. Her hubby is pretty ill but still working. He has uncontrolled diabetes and has had 5-6 open heart surgeries in the past few years plus he is on blood thinners. She has taken care of Gizmo when we went on vacation (pre-FD) and they have a special bond.
