As soon as I exited the bedroom, miss Blackie went straight to her Super Scratch, and went to town on it. That seems to be her normal morning routine lately, and that's great to see. :-D

Ears were warm this morning, which made it for an easier poke. 4 P's in place. All is good in BlackieLand. :-D And... It's another hot day here in Texas. There may be some relief in sight with Hurricane or Tropical Storm Don in the Gulf. We'll see. All I know is... It's going to be hot for quite some time... Probably forever if this keeps up. :lol: Please stay cool, folks. And stay safe.

I love warm ears too! Simon often lies by the a/c vent, making it difficult, but if I catch
him napping in bed, they're usually toasty :lol:

hoping for cooler weather for you, it's been hot for so long, can't be good for any of us.

Sounds like Blackie is doing wonderfully though. Hope you gals have a great day.

Thank you, folks. :smile: I have no doubt that we'll be having a nice day today. Another day of stitching, for sure. Too hot to do anything else. Although, this morning I filled in the hole under the water tub in the pasture. We'll see if anything comes back to dig it back out. Kind of hard to fill it back up when the tub's a bit low to the ground. Granted it's raised on cinder blocks, but still... Not a lot of room to move the shovel around under there. :lol:

HOT HOT HOT! :shock: At least there is rain in the forecast for us...of course, with the size of Houston, you never know when "rain" is going to fall on top of you. :?

We live in Kaufman County, which is in north Texas. I highly doubt that this storm will impact our weather as it's supposed to hit Corpus Christi. In the meantime, I'm staying indoors, and will continue to stitch, and do whatever this Momma Bean does.
