I'm having the exact same problem with Ti-Mousse: at +6 they should be lower; he started in blue, +6 in yellow and +9 almost in Pink!! I'm at a loss alsoWell I hoped we were not in for a flat blue day so Jerry decided to throw a yellow into the mix. I am at a loss as to why this has happened, at +6 he should be lower and instead he is climbing.
He did throw up a couple of times this morning nothing solid but his appetite is still the same, loving his food. Sigh.... puzzles.
Its just so odd. The only difference is that he threw up this morning but he's been eating fine since. WTH!!!I'm having the exact same problem with Ti-Mousse: at +6 they should be lower; he started in blue, +6 in yellow and +9 almost in Pink!! I'm at a loss also![]()
I wish I had answers for you! I'm having problems with Ti right now, really don't know where I'm going myself...!Its just so add. The only difference is that he threw up this morning but he's been eating fine since. WTH!!!
Let’s see what he does tonight. I’ll take a peak before I go to bed....since I’m on west coast time, I can follow you pretty late your time. I’ll leave a post on this condo if you think you have time to check it before you shoot tomorrow morning. My DH had some in his toolbox and i tried them but I'm really not too sure how to use them. I was about to ask you and he had the low so went to the drop dose. I'll see what Mr. Jerry does this evening and tag you if you don't mind. Do you think if he stays yellow through tonight I should increase again or give it another cycle?
Thanks Marje. I usually get a +4 before bed but I'm up till +5 so I can get a test in then.Let’s see what he does tonight. If you don’t, then let me know what time you usually quit testing and go to bed and I’ll pop in before then.
He’s consistently done this dropping really low on 0.1u. What is the % carb on the food you are currently feeding him? My thought is that if it is fairly low, you might want to increase it up to 10% so it’s safer to get the 0.1u in him.
Yes..I’ll be happy to help you with the calipers. Your DH’s might not be the best to use if he uses them in construction projects. I find the 6” digital to be the easiest. Are you using the BD US ultrafine syringes?
I see he’s coming down slowly and +5 is right around the corner. We will have to let the current dose ride tomorrow and see where he goes. He could keep sliding tonight and give you a lower AMPS or he could head back up if it’s not a bounce clearing cycle and it’s just a case of “needs more insulin”.Thanks Marje. My DH's calipers are small and I don't think he has used them for anything much. I don't think they are what is required though. I will go out tomorrow and get some others.
I'm feeding him Friskies two flavors at the moment 5% and 4%, also Fancy Feast three/four different flavors all of which are 3%. I did find a Friskies that is a 9% which I will pick up tomorrow and I'll do some checking on Dr. Pierson's food list to see if I can find a few others.

It might be worthwhile to try a little higher carbs.
I’ll check in tomorrow morning. Hope you sleep well.

You’re welcome!+5 and he's at 190. just gave him a LC snack and I'm off to bed. I will certainly get some higher LC food tomorrow to have in the stash should he need to get the increase. Thanks again, you're an angel to help me like this.![]()
