J.D. is having poos that looked mostly formed but are wet and stinky, for the past 2 and 1/2 to 3 days. I tried leaving the Young Again out a couple days ago and some of it was gone when I got home from work on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Last night I tried Orijen and both cats liked it and ate a little. I was testing J.D. at AMPS and he was squirming and he went stinky wet poo on the testing spot (my couch) while I abandoned the test to clean up. A little later he went again almost all on the pee pad. He just went down a lot of points between +11.25 and AMPS and I am afraid I am going to have to leave out MC or HC if he continues diving which will further add to his diarrhea.

He just ate a little FortiFlora on top of his 1st Breffis. I shot the full dose. I need to get in the shower and then go to work. I hope he feels better for the rest of the day.

I hope J.D.'s tummy gets better soon. Hopefully he'll surf safely for you today.

He's acting fine, even last night when he was so high, he was alert and wanting to go outside when I got home late from my meeting.

Off to tbp..

Tomorrow Folate test and Electrolytes test bright and early (and fasting) in the morning. I should withhold coffee from myself just so I know how he feels. Are there any other tests I should get while I'm there?

I confirmed with the vet today that J.D. is getting a folate test (that tests for cobalamin?) an electrolyte test (that tests for potassium?) and a phosphurus test (even though his recent tests have been fine). It will be a fasting test, early tomorrow morning at about +1.5. I hope a 1/4 Pepcid in a bit of pill pocket is okay to give him tomorrow morning as when his tummy is empty it gets acidic. I will bring a can of food with me to the vet's so J.D. can eat on the way home as it is about 25 minutes drive. I asked about the diarrhea and she said to put him on FortiFlora for a week and see how he does. I asked about whether baby food squash helps with both constipation and diarrhea and she said she does not know as she has never used it.
 
J.D. was just snoozing after eating his 2nd Dinner, but now he's up. I am so tired from a long day of work, and am ready to hit the hay and join him.
There is no diarrhea (Knock On Wood) since this morning.
Ginger brought a baby bunny into the house this evening, and chased it into her carrier. I think.. I pulled her out by her tail...anyway I got Ginger and put her harness and leash on and tied her to the inside front door knob, and then the bunny ran into the kitchen and hid between the refrigerator and the wall. I got a flashlight, a box and a mop handle and was able to get the bunny in the box and then outside, and it looked like she was okay so I released her. Ginger is back on leash restriction for a week.
