Good morning!
AMPS 155 shooting .5u

Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds, leaving a bit of his +6.

Allen ate very well last night and left us a humongous lb deposit!:D

It's very nice out now but I can't get out because Thursdays are DH's golfing days and he's already left...so I'm at home with the boys. Thunderstorms are supposed to move in later this morning:(

I have so very many wildlife images to edit! Meanwhile, today's image is of a female Red-Winged Blackbird! Unbelievable how they look so very different than the males....so much prettier in my opinion ;)

I just read an article about a location 2 hours west of me. I thought you would love to see this picture. It's a common merganser.

The mother duck has been named Mama because in this picture, 50 ducklings were seen. But the photographer has since counted 79 in subsequent photoshoots.
I saw that this morning on Facebook! That is absolutely amazing!

Beautiful photo of red winged blackbird. Thank you, Judy. Is there a song or a poem about them?
Hope you all have a good smooth day. And good weather. It’s been quirky here.

Just to clarify. Not all those ducklings were hers. The most eggs they can sit on is 20. Lost babies imprint on another mother because she looks like their mother.
@Mandy & Rex one day DH and I were in Stratford where we go at least once each spring to view/photograph the baby swans. Out in the middle of the river was one wee duckling (mallard). The rest of the family was on the shore with the parents calling it. Two Canada Geese swam over to the duckling and guided it back to the Mallard family. I wish I had taken a video of it; if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it.
