Good morning!
AMPS 103 shooting 3.75u

Long night last night....when I saw that Boomer had dropped to almost green at +3, I got up at +4, +5 and +6 to test. At +6 I decided he wouldn't drop any further so I set no further alarms. Finally got back to sleep (I don't fall back to sleep easily) and an Amber Alert came through my phone.....in Canada (or perhaps it may be just Ontario) we have alerts come through our phones when there is a missing child (abducted). It's a very loud long alert to get everyone's attention of course. Barely got back to sleep when they sent out a second one with more info. Then of course Boomer aka HRH had to wake me at 4:30; I gave him some fresh ff and went btb. Then DH gets up early for golf. Need lots of :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Today's photo was taken a couple of days ago at Saunders Pond.....this American Goldfinch said "Please take my picture" and I complied of course.

Sounds like you didn't get any sleep at all! Hope you can work in a nap or three today...I'd be bleary eyed for sure after a night like that...
 
Nice greens for Boomer last night! I hope you get some rest today Judy, those 3am emergency alerts are shockingly loud, what a horrible sound to wake up to. Thank goodness they found the little girl safe in Hamilton.
That little finch is sooo cute! How did you get him to pose on the same color flower?
 
Ughhhh that's a very long night for you, but at least you have some nice greens AND that male goldfinch to brighten your day. They're such handsome devils at this time of year.
 
LOVE that one Judy!! it really does look like the finch is posing for you, too funny :P

I hope that Boomer doesn't go to high today! Keep it to the beach Boomer!
