? 07/21 Molly AMPS 155 Question regarding travel

It’s Wednesday and we had lots of rain yesterday. Our vacation starts a week from today. My new work place was kind enough. To give me my planned days off.
Any questions on what to give Molly she gets stressed on our drive? Feliway spray doesn’t work
I went back to 2 units last night.
 
Do you have any Rescue Remedy? It's supposed to calm pets down. If you buy some, make sure you get the one for pets. There is one for people that has alcohol in it. I hope Molly surfs safely today.
 
Rescue Remedy nor Feliway never did anything for Jax. When we traveled with him (3.5 hours usually), I gave him a small dose of gaba (with vet approval). My vet also said to call them back for other options but gaba worked just fine for him (fwiw, I only asked my vet about using gaba for the drive because I already had it on hand for vet visits :joyful:). Maybe call your vet and see what they recommend?

Thanks Carla looks like she might’ve dipped low this afternoon. She is higher tonight

I called the vet but they want to see her. Before they will give her anything. Molly’s vet is booked I don’t think I should have to take her there for that. Not sure what to do.

We’re looking forward to our vacation. It’s nice to still see you on here.

Oh no, sorry they want to see her for that...guess I'm lucky my vet didn't require that...wish your vet was a bit more understanding :bighug: Have you tried a thunder shirt? Not sure if it's available or not in Canada but I know a friend used it with her dog (they have a feline version too). Good to see you too :bighug::bighug::bighug:
