I am so sorry to hear Simba is not eating and is weak. Poor little sweetheart. She has been so courageous.

I hope sleeping a lot means that Simba is able to get tolerably comfortable, and hope all her hours, whether many or few, will be peaceful.

Furball, blue numbers are exactly the right thing to do to help your momma right now. Being happy and purry helps her, too. You're a good girl.
 
I'm adding to the all love and support being sent your way.......these sweet creatures are with us for far too short of time.

Oh Carla, I am so, so sorry it was brave little Simba's time to leave. My heart truly breaks for you. I wish I had comforting words to take away the ache, but I know it doesn't work that way, only time can help to heal your heart. Simba could not possibly have had a better kitty mom, and she knows how much you love her. She will live on in your heart forever.

I'm so glad she was with you at home. You fought so hard to keep Simba alive and well, but Simba made the decision, and it was right. Even so, I am deeply saddened. Hugs and prayers for both of you.

Thank you for sharing her journey with us so that we could join you in loving her. If only the grief we all feel could lessen your own. You have been an inspiration, making her time a little longer and a lot happier than it had seemed it was going to be.

I’m so sorry. Even though you know it is coming, you are never ready and it is still so hard. You were always one of the first people to offer support on Gizmo’s condos each day. We have been following Simba closely and praying that you had more time with her. I’m sure Gizmo is waiting for her at the bridge where they can be cancer free together.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh Carla I am so sorry to read it was Simba's time to leave. You have looked after her so well and kept her comfortable. Even when you are expecting it to happen, it is no easier. We all love our kitties so much and it is always heartbreaking when they have to leave us.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I always read your condos and loved how you loved and cared for your fur babies. Simba was blessed to have such love and care, and I'm so glad she was home with you, safe when she left. Tears for you, peace for dear Simba. cat_wings>o

Whilst it is just and peaceful that Simba passed away in her own home with you right beside her, it is still very very sad & I am sorry she is gone from you now.
