Morning Adrienne, a nice start for Dolly , No hiding under the table today Dolly :p
Mama doesn't like to play that game. I hope Dolly sufs safely today.
I hope you have a good day ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hi Diane, Dolly is in a happy, purry, rub my ears mode. She rolls all over the floor, it’s so cute. This is the Dolly I know not the one that’s out of it all day. Hope PT goes well today for Ashley. Hope Tyler stays feeling well. Now you know that illness and pain can raise blood sugar, God forbid Tyler gets sick again you will know not to panic if numbers are elevated. I would guess it is pain in Dolly’s case. Dolly is constantly congested. She had that pseudomonas bacterial infection last time. I think it lies dormant and flares up from time to time. My husband has this as well. It’s very hard to get rid of and Dolly has been on so many different antibiotics. Take care my friend. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Starting Dolly on antibiotics today. Suspect she is having another pseudomonas flare up and possibly the reason for the higher numbers. I have not given Dolly pain meds for over two days. She seems to be managing well but monitoring her walking closely. In the beginning the pain meds seemed to help and she acted pretty normal. This last week when she was given pain meds all she did was sleep except to get up and eat, (she is free fed). She was also very moody, not wanting to be near us or touched. :mad:She is a cat so a lot of things are guess work, but I know my Dolly. It’s impossible to know their pain level unless it’s obvious. Since not getting the meds she is much more alert :cat: a much happier cat.:joyful: I still believe she needs the meds but no more than every 24 hours. She doesn’t seem to metabolize them like she was. I am, once again, really talking to myself.

I wouldn't say Dolly's numbers are too high...she did get a 72 today, which is pretty great. But you know her best. Hope the antibiotics make her feel better. Hugs, Adrienne!
Thanks Katherine. I don’t think her numbers are that high but higher than normal most of the day. Her little nose is so plugged up, it’s painful to hear her breathing. I can hear her across the room.

Ruby looks so pretty in her blues. I’m sure it’s a relief to not see her in pink. :p Hope you had a good day at work. :joyful: Hope Olive is doing well. Hugs to all :bighug::bighug::bighug:
