07/19 Allie 391 +8 Lantus to ProZinc?

If she does test positive for acromegaly, I would give up on Lantus and Prozinc, and try Levemir instead. It seems to be even longer lasting for higher dose cats, and doesn't have the sting that Lantus's acid base can do. Any chance you could get some tests around preshot? We strongly recommend testing before shooting, to know it's safe to give insulin.

Did you also get the blood test done for IAA (insulin auto antibodies)? The test is done at the same place and is a cheap add on if done at the same time. My Neko had both.

Good luck with the switch. We have a couple high dose cats now on Prozinc. If you post in that forum, maybe they can help.
