There is a possibility that the pen is bad or lost it's punch. Can you try a new pen?

It might have also been possibly a fur shot? Usually, when Mikey's numbers just rise without even a drop, it's because of a fur shot. Hope the new pen works better for you guys tonight!
 
I check his BS and gave him the shot of the new pen at 8:17..I am waiting to check it again at 3 hours to see if it has gone down any. He was also fed at 8:17..so it may have not come down much, but at least then when I wake up I will see how it is then.
