WCR: All is well with Blackie. AMPS weight=10.88 lbs. Don't know where she's putting it all. :lol: If her AMPS is as high as it it this morning, I'm going to say that the insulin is probably going, or almost done. Then again, could be that the doses aren't 100% correct, either. Either way, and as much as I hate doing it, I may have to waste the rest of this pen. I think the stopper is at the 3rd line above the purple stopper on the pen, if that makes any sense.

Sending tons of healing vines, positive thoughts and prayers to whoever needs them.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone, including Blackie, to be OTJ.​

I think your insulin is just fine! It's still bringing Blackie into the greens :mrgreen:

Have you ever tried feeding just a little at about +9 at night? Sometimes it can bring down the AMPS number...just a teaspoon of low carb can sometimes get a sputtering pancreas to release just enough to bring that number down some.

As long as the insulin is bringing Blackie into the 60's, I think it's still got plenty of "kick" left in it :-D

No, the pen was 77 days old. I think it was waning, so I gave her a new pen this evening. Giving her a snack at +9 would raise her #s.
