It was nice to see a little green last night.
J.D. has eaten his first breffis. Although, he seems a little tired. I didn't try giving him the Cosequin yet, but will for his next meal before I head for work.

I hope everyone has a good day. :-D

No shrimp :? I was too tired, I guess. I failed him
I just kept setting the alarm and going back to sleep.

J.D. if you get some more green tonight, I promise you shrimp.

No....you did not fail him. Middle of the night green does not count.....too tired to think and he has no idea he was green.

Good morning Dyana. Does the Cosequin seem to help JD? Gus is on it x2/day but I don't notice any effect in the summer. In the winter, he almost can't walk without it. I was wondering if I should cut back to once a day. What do you think?

Good morning Dyana! Nice numbers for JD last night. No worries on the shrimpies. Hopefully he will hit green again soon and you can make up for it!

Dyana- You're allowed to be too tired for shrimpies...I'm sure J.D. understands and knows there are shrimpies in his future!

Have a great day!

J.D. greeted me at the door when I arrived home from work. He seems happy. He went down to use the litter box, and made that funny noise, but when I called him, he raced up the stairs looking into my eyes the whole way.

The kitties are waiting to go outside now, but I think I have to go to my neighbor's house first. I am petsitting for their 3 cats for a week, and they leave tomorrow morning.

Why do they use such a teeny little font on medicine bottles? The bottle says for the initial period to give cats 10lbs or less to give 1 capsule a day and cats over 10lbs (which J.D. is  ) 2 capsules a day. Then once the desired results are achieved to give the capsules every other day.
I had J.D. on this Cosequin once before (for about 5 weeks) and didn't see any results. I stopped when we went on vacation.

I guess the question is: How long has Gus been using the Cosequin?

I went to the pool, and Sylvester was outside (in front of my condo), and I talked to him, and he didn't hiss at me, and he followed me all the way to the pool. I feel sorry for him. Always have.
I had a quick swim, and then took my kitties outside for a bit.
The mother bunny was out in the big lawn, and Ginger saw her and was (on a leash) about 8 or 9 feet from the bunny. I said to the bunny, it's okay Ginger is on a leash, I will not let her get you, and the bunny continued to eat the grass.
Then J.D. (not on a leash) saw the bunny. J.D. does not stalk and go through all the slow moves that Ginger does.
J.D. went trotting right up to the bunny and then did a slow (okay medium  ) lope as he chased the mommy bunny away. I then told J.D. what a wonderful great and good kitty he is. cat_pet_icon
Ginger looked at me :o
So, then I had to let Ginger... (on a leash) get closer... to the bunny and pretend to stalk and hunt the mommy bunny.

I talked to the neighbors. They're not leaving until Friday, now.

The kitties just came in to eat their 2nd dinner.

All is well :-D
