I was afraid to see anymore higher numbers, so quit testing for the night.

Good morning.

It's a strange morning, here. Ginger is sound asleep and not screaming to go outside (maybe from the distemper shot she got yesterday). J.D. has been pacing all morning. I was a little anxious getting his AMPS because I didn't know if he was super high or not. He keeps following me everywhere (which is nothing unusual), but he's not "laying in his favorite spot".
I think I'll take him out for a little walk while it's still cool outside. Poor Ginger.

J.D. is having a yellow day.
This pacing and following me everywhere is driving me nuts. He just finished his 3rd breffis, and is about to jump up on the coffee table to see if Ginger left any. He acts like he's starving. He's had three 1/4 cans of watered down FF.

My thoughts are with Carolyn & Latte, and Lydia & Jake, and Caryl and Alex.

J.D.'s doctor called to say that he was very happy with J.D.'s blood work. I just got back from picking up a copy. Everything is within range, except his BG which showed 197. I didn't tell the doctor that he went down to 59 yesterday ;-) and up to 341 :roll: .

The last blood work in January - out of range values
Cholesterol: 269 high (range 82 - 218 mg/dl)
Glucose: 352 high (range 70 - 150 mg/dl)
HGB: 15.5 high (range 9.5 - 15 g/dl)
HCT: 46.2 high (range 29 - 45%)
Auto Platelet 165 low (range 170 - 600 THOUS./ul)

Yesterday's blood work - same ranges
CHOL: 204 normal
Glucose 197 high
HGB: 15.2 high
HCT: 42.8 normal
Platelets: 376 normal

He says I'm doing a good job, and I can go to my "feline page" reunion, in August :lol:
 
What a wonderful day for JD he is doing awesome, Dyana. Blood work is good...yea! Couldn't ask for a better day!!!
Glad you got the go ahead to come to Pittsburgh in August. Looking forward to meeting you, JD and Ginger!!
