WCR: All is well with Blackie. Not sure what's up with her #s yesterday. I'm guessing 1 of 3 things... Either a bounce from the throw up before the PMPS test the day before yesterday, or perhaps the insulin is starting to turn... Or she found a bit of very small contraband crumbs that I didn't notice. If it's the insulin, I'm going to continue to monitor her #s to see if they start rising any more. IF it is the insulin, however, the PS #s would be much higher than they are (anti-jinx, anti-jinx) last night and this morning. Another aspect is that it could be the Evo 95% Chicken & Turkey. I did notice that it had a fishy smell to it, and it could very well have a small amount of fish added to it (don't know why), however, I haven't contacted the company about it as of yet since we can't afford to replace the case that I got from PetFoodDirect.com. This morning, I was going to replace the pen, but I still have a fair amount in there to use yet, and I really hate to waste insulin. I know that the pens usually don't last this long, though, and I'm very thankful that it is (anti-jinx, anti-jinx). In the meantime, she'll continue to be under close scrutiny, of course.
Other than that, despite my adding 6 drops of water to her meals like normal this morning, she drank a fair amount of the water dishes. Also, she's still moving around, and is losing a small amount of weight probably due to the walking around that she's doing. It's not fast walking. It's a bit on the slow side, but she is mobile. And she continues to chase after her son, Groucho. Hey, whatever gets her moving... If he gets her moving, then... Chase on, Lil Mama, Chase on!!!
