Well... I'm anxious because this is similar to the last time he spit up overnight and the following day had green numbers. But his nadir is usually more like +5 or 6 It always feels like something is off when we get into green... but that could also be because his diabetes has been so poorly managed for so long... but he shouldn't be throwing up from bouncing? His amps yesterday was 210.

I fed the hc at about +2.25 pmps..

It's ok to be anxious, greens can be both lovely to see but also terrifying at the same time. I see Baxter has acro, which I know nothing about and if it effects cycles at all. But no, bouncing (from my understanding) should not cause vomiting.
I notice with my kitty, Khloe, it takes 30 mins after eating to show a rising number. Are you able to test at +3.25 or now if it's already past that? That should tell you how much the HC bumped him up

I know that nadirs can move around sometimes. Baxter also had a PMPS of 113 tonight so he's only gone down 33 mg/dL so far. 80 isn't dangerous but it is still pretty early in his cycle so good to keep a eye on.

Again, I know absolutely nothing about acro so things may be different with a acro kitty.

Thank you for being there to talk it through! I hope you and Khloe don't have too long a night ahead. Baxter seems okay.. it looks like the hc food didn't do a whole lot over the coarse of an hour? And yes, acromegaly from what I understand has a mind if it's own sometimes...

No problem! I always feel a little less anxious when I can bounce thoughts off of someone else, so I hope it helped you some! And thank you, Khloe will most likely flatten out here the rest of the night so it shouldn't be too much longer.
I agree it doesn't look like the HC did much bumping but as long as he didn't keep dropping is all that matters! I hope you are able to get some rest tonight and good luck with your dose review tomorrow!
