Something is not right Trey seems confused not sure of himself in getting down off chair or coming down stairs. Does not come when I call him and he always comes to mom all my cats do. He seems to always be alert when he is resting, he has his eyes half open. Trey as always been a very sound sleeper. He did eat well this morning, but I know my boy and something is just not right maybe a stroke. He moves just slow and unsure think I will take him up to vet today maybe blood work. Some reason why his numbers double and for no reason. :sad: :? nailbite_smile ~O) ~O) Tons of healing green light too all your beautiful fur babies Hugsssssssss Kath

You know your kitty. I hope you get him into the vet. Our civvie has strokes every now and then. Tons of healing vines for Trey.

Vet apt on Monday his Dr. is off this week ....(thought) maybe its his ears ,his hearing maybe going or inner ear thing. Did anyone ever had their great bleeder ear (his left) always bleeds at a tick but last few day hard to get more then a tick of blood also blood looks darker ....most likely just my eyes. Trey ate a good lunch out in his screened deck laying on the floor and that ok he does that a lot.....hoping I am just a worried bean for no reason....will keep you updated thanks for caring Hugs and tons of healing green light coming your way ((Devon & Lovey))) ~O) ~O) :YMSIGH: Kath

that does sound like something's going on, kath.

does he move normally, ie, is his gait/walk normal? when he eats is he chewing normally or does that look off?

Monday seems a long ways away if you think it's serious. if it gets worse, i'd run him in to an ER.

I'd also take him to an ER. One of the other LL kitties, PurrFace, recently had a stroke. They got him to the ER right away and he's had a very successful recuperation although he had a few ups and downs and it took him a bit of time to regain his mobility. My point is...strokes can happen. Best to be cautious.

I agree with Marje. I wouldn't wait. If your gut is screaming at you that something is wrong, then it's time to see your vet or get Trey to the ER.

You know your cat better than anyone...if your gut is saying something is off, it most likely is. I think I'd get him into see A vet (even if it's not his regular one) instead of waiting to see if it gets worse and have no choice but the ER vets.

Your regular vets office can fax his medical records.

Sending lots of healing vines to Trey and hope that whatever is going on isn't serious.

Thank you all for checking in on Trey I am keeping a close eye on him believe me...I called and had a chat with the one I trust and if I see anything wrong he will be there. He is eating and he is looking for an early supper bless his heart. Walking ok and came to see me when I got home and couldn`t find him ran downstairs and no Trey back upstairs and there his is. Could be the heat maybe but he was just waiting at top of stairs and licking his chops may have just had a drink of water so hard to tell. Eyes look nice and bright....I just don`t care for the vet that is on but I will take him if I have to no worries there....Thanks for all the healing vibes will keep you all updated....Hugsssss Kath
